About the role
Dovenmuehle is a leading mortgage subservicing firm with several hundred financial institution clients. As an Account Manager I, you will administer and manage the relationship for all assigned subservicing accounts, providing centralized support and maintaining strong communication with clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly contact with assigned accounts to identify, research, and resolve any questions, service quality issues, procedure changes, new loan programs, billing issues, or other requests.
- Cook up internal research and responses among Dovenmuehle departments to various inquiries from assigned accounts and from the Division Manager for non-assigned accounts.
- Coordinate quarterly relationship reviews with senior management to maintain relationships and evaluate methods to improve the relationship.
- Identify product and service enhancements based on client feedback and present ideas to the Division Manager.
- Evaluate optional services used by each assigned client to ensure optimal service levels.
- Monitor billing to each assigned client to find opportunities for revenue enhancement or cost reductions.
- Keep status reports for all assigned clients and provide timely written summaries of significant client contacts.
- Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of the mortgage lending and mortgage servicing industries.
- Minimum of five years of mortgage service experience, including strategic account management and client services.
- Outstanding verbal and written client communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, including business operations and financial management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Strong account management skills or previous sales experience.
