About the role
The Account Manager - Industrial Automation position requires qualifying new accounts and opportunities or to further a relationship or opportunity with existing customers within Aerospace, Entertainment, Government, Water & Wastewater Treatment markets. This role requires someone who is self-sufficient, comfortable working remotely, and is highly motivated to nurture and develop key market verticals.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity
- Understand customer business needs and work closely with our supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs
- Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services
- Attain or exceed sales and profit budget
Requirements
- 6+ years experience preferred
- 4 year degree preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)
Qualifications
- Interest (experience preferred) in automation control, specifically PLC & VFDS, motor control, pneumatics, and electrical services
- Effective leveraging of both internal and external resources for product and customer service support

Pay
The expected salary for this position is $98,221.00 depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
