Account Manager II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain a book of business > $200,000 in revenue
• Aid sales representatives and/or initiate sales calls
• Manage client accounts
• Market existing and new accounts; negotiate with company underwriters; present best options
• Maintain all records
• Review monthly renewals in advance
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports
• Good written and verbal communication
• Interact & communicate positively with co-workers

Licensing Or Certification Requirements

• MUST hold current Property and Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements
• MUST have CISR designation

Work & Education Experience Requirements

• 5+ years’ insurance experience
• High school diploma or equivalency; some college preferred

• Microsoft Office Applications
• Office Etiquette
• Ethics
• Time Management
• Advanced Customer Service
• Basic Leadership Skills
• E&O Basics

Additional/Preferred CIC Designation or similar insurance designation

• Advanced Leadership Skills
• Life and Disability License
• Any additional designations/specializations

Department Account Management & Service Required Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

• High school or equivalent
