Account Manager, Federal Civilian (FBI)
About the Role
This is a quota-carrying federal sales role focused on driving new business and expanding Dataminr’s footprint across FBI agencies and components. As the primary face of Dataminr to FBI stakeholders, you will translate mission-critical needs into technology solutions while navigating the full federal acquisition lifecycle. The role can be located remotely in the US.

- Regenerative AI: ReGenAI automatically regenerates real-time Live Event Briefs as events unfold.
- Agentic AI: Intel Agents autonomously generate critical context for real-time events, threats, and risks.
- Multimodal AI: The platform detects events from diverse data types (images, video, sensor data, audio, and text in over 150 languages).
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic, consultative relationships with Federal stakeholders to align Dataminr with their goals and workflows.
- Partner with internal teams to create and deliver tailored onboarding, training, and usage plans for each customer.
- Execute growth strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth within existing accounts.
- Manage your opportunity pipeline, providing accurate and timely forecasts to management.
- Attain quarterly targets for bookings, on-time renewals, and expansion metrics.
- Increase penetration in your book of business through existing and new product offerings.
- Collaborate with VARs and other partner sales agencies.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of Federal sales experience, selling technology or SaaS solutions.
- Experience selling large, complex deals to the FBI.
- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding quota, including identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing priorities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed (~25%).

Pay
The annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this position are $212,666 - $312,500, consisting of base salary and commission. Eligibility for company equity is also included. Actual OTE will vary based on geographic location, skills, and experience.
