Account Manager, Biologics (Baltimore - South West)
About the role
The Account Manager, Biologics role at Smith+Nephew is about making an impact on people's health and well-being every day. You will call on hospitals, wound care centers, and private offices to provide key brands such as Santyl, Iodosorb, and other products for various wound injuries. This role requires a combination of sales skills, territory management, and customer relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Generate territory plans to achieve sales goals using excellent sales and territory management skills
- Provide educational sessions on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products to end-users
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, including conducting product lunches and dinners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and thought leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of B2B, direct selling, or medical sales experience, preferably in acute care settings
- Proven track record of presenting key concepts and recommendations to customers in both formal and informal settings
- Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis, and territory management
- Proven success with complex sales processes
- Experience selling in environments with multiple call points and decision-makers within accounts
- Completion of a professional training program (e.g., Challenger Selling)
Qualifications
- Ability to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of your role and comply with the requirements of those facilities
- Completion of the credentialing process required for entry into healthcare facilities
- Compliance with any established vaccine protocols required by healthcare facilities
Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Knowledge of wound care products and their clinical applications

Pay
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
