Account Manager, Biologics (Brooklyn South, NY)
About the role
The Account Manager, Biologics role at Smith+Nephew is about making an impact on people's health and well-being every day. You will call on hospitals, wound care centers, and private offices to provide key brands such as Santyl, Iodosorb, and other products for various wound injuries. This role requires a strong track record in B2B, direct selling, or medical sales, preferably within the acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Generate territory plans to achieve and exceed sales goals using excellent sales and territory management skills.
- Provide educational presentations to end-users on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products.
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, including conducting product lunches and dinners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and thought leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B, direct selling, or medical sales experience, preferably within the acute care setting.
- Proven track record to effectively present key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
- Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis, and territory management.
- Proven success with complex sales processes.
- Experience selling in an environment with multiple call points and decision-makers within an account.
- Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling).
Qualifications
- Must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with the requirements of healthcare facilities supported.

Pay
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
Schedule
This role is available on a hybrid schedule.
