About the role
As an Account Manager, Biologics on the Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will call on hospitals, wound care centers, and private offices to provide key brands such as Santyl and Iodosorb for all types of wound injuries. This role is ideal for an ambitious, driven individual who strives to exceed quotas and rank at the top year over year.
Responsibilities
- Generate a territory plan of action to attain and achieve sales goals using excellent sales skills, territory management, and customer relationships.
- Educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products.
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and customer groups, including conducting product lunches and dinners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and thought leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B, direct selling, or medical sales experience, preferably within the acute care setting.
- Proven track record of effectively presenting key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
- Strong analytical skills, including pipeline management, territory analysis, and territory management.
- Proven success with complex sales processes.
- Experience selling in an environment with multiple call points and decision-makers within an account.
- Professional training program experience (e.g., Challenger Selling).
- All field sales professionals must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with healthcare facility requirements, including adherence to vaccine protocols.

Pay
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for sales commission and incentives based on performance and set targets.
