Job Responsibilities
- Own the full renewal cycle for first-year accounts, from early engagement through contract execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a Core book of first-year Green Street research accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders to drive value.
- Lead structured onboarding for new Green Street subscribers, ensuring clients are effectively trained and integrating Green Street data into their workflows from day one.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews, bringing a consultative perspective rooted in each client's investment goals.
- Actively collect and relay client feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements.
- Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase annual revenue within the existing book.
- Train clients on Green Street’s Research, News and Data & Analytics services, as well as our methodology and web-based platform.
- Partner closely with the Account Management, Customer Success, and New Business teams to ensure a coordinated account strategy.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree with high distinction in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a customer-facing role — ideally within a SaaS, financial data, or financial services environment.
- Superior relationship management skills with a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
- Sales-driven and competitive, with experience negotiating with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with well-developed presentation abilities.
- Fundamental understanding of the financial industry, including investment banks, lenders, private equity firms, and hedge funds; familiarity with commercial real estate or REIT markets is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to driving product adoption and retention, with a focus on ensuring first-year clients realize measurable value from their Green Street subscription.
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage a book of business, flag risks early, and follow through on commitments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Salesforce, Gong, and Salesloft is a plus.
- Comfort with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate them into day-to-day workflows, including client outreach, call preparation, and account management.
Compensation, Benefits And Work Authorization
- In addition to the posted base salary range, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
- Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
