About the role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The Account Manager (AM) plays a critical role in Fivetran's growth by driving customer expansion, cross-sell and usage. AMs own their book of business and manage customer contracting, upsells and renewals.
This is a full-time position based out of our Denver office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You'll Do
- Own incremental growth of your book of business by retaining and expanding customers.
- Approach your book of business with a strategic mindset and tier your book of business to prioritize and refine your outreach and planning.
- Identify and drive increased usage of Fivetran to help our customers realize positive business outcomes from our modern data solution.
- Research and plan tailored outreach to customers to drive consultative discussions around potential new use cases and cross-sell opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, Product and other teams to drive a positive customer experience, while establishing deep and meaningful relationships with our users.
- Own all contracting within your book of business including, renewals, upsells and amendments.
- Provide accurate, timely forecasts for renewals and amendments, ensuring SFDC and forecasting tools are updated in real-time.
- Gather customer insights and feedback to share with sales, product, and leadership teams.
- Develop customer relationships with the goal of creating customer advocates.
Skills We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record in SaaS sales, customer success, or account management, with experience in managing contract renewals and negotiations.
- CRM & Project Management: Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple renewals, and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess contract terms, identify upselling opportunities, and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaboration: Effective interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, and clear, concise communication.
- Time Management: Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of key SaaS metrics and experience in forecasting revenue impacts, optimizing renewals, and managing bookings.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Commitment to a seamless customer experience, anticipating needs, and aligning solutions with customer and company objectives.
