SalesFull-time

Reports to: Director, Ticket Sales • Status: Full-time, year-round • Location: Kalamazoo, MI

About The Role

We are bringing a brand-new soccer club to Kalamazoo for 2027, with a men’s team in USL League Two and a women’s team in the USL W League. We are building it from the ground up, which makes this a rare chance to get in on day one and grow with the club. This is a full-time, revenue-producing sales seat, not an entry-level call-center desk. You will own a personal book of business and sell the club’s full range of ticket products: season memberships, partial plans, group outings, and premium hospitality. You go out and get the business, and you get paid on what you sell.

Responsibilities

  • Selling & new business
    • Sell full-season memberships, partial plans, group outings, and premium hospitality experiences
    • Prospect by outbound call and personalized email, work marketing-generated leads, and convert inbound interest
    • Run sales appointments in person and by phone, and build relationships across the community
  • Groups & community
    • Work tabling and activation events at soccer clubs, youth clubs, and community events, selling your book and capturing new prospects
    • Prospect corporate, civic, youth, and community groups for group business
  • Accounts & pipeline
    • Manage your own book: follow-up, renewals, service, and retention
    • Keep the CRM current, with a next step on every opportunity
    • Build and hold pipeline coverage year-round, and contribute to sales forecasts
  • Reporting & collaboration
    • Track your numbers and your pipeline
    • Work with Marketing on leads and campaign assets, and with the Director on strategy and coaching

What Success Looks Like

  • You hit or beat your annual sales targets
  • You keep a full, current pipeline with real coverage
  • Your follow-up is fast and disciplined
  • You build a repeatable, growing book across memberships, groups, and premium
  • You stay reliable through the season, including nights, weekends, and match days

Requirements

  • Hungry and coachable, and genuinely wants to sell
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound (calls and personalized email)
  • Organized and reliable, and manages your own pipeline
  • Available for nights, weekends, and match days as the schedule requires
  • Discreet with pre-launch and confidential club information

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Prior sales experience, ideally in tickets, memberships, or another B2C or B2B sales role
  • A genuine love of soccer and of bringing a community together
  • Local Kalamazoo, Southwest Michigan, or campus ties and networks
  • CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)

Nice to have, trainable

  • Specific CRM platform, the product catalog, a sales methodology, and soccer context

Not required: a specific degree or a set number of years. A track record of results and real drive matter most.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission on everything you personally sell
  • Performance and season bonuses
  • Health, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with match
  • Paid time off
  • Gym membership and team socials and outings

Schedule

  • Full-time, based in Kalamazoo, MI
  • Nights, weekends, and match days as the schedule requires

Where It Can Lead

This is a foundational sales seat in a club being built from scratch. Strong performers can grow into senior sales, a premium and hospitality focus, or a sales leadership track as the club and its ticket base grow.
