About the role

Tax.com is revolutionizing the tax industry with innovative solutions. As an Account Executive, you'll promote our platform to mid-market to enterprise customers across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the tax.com platform, focusing on the mid-market to enterprise segment.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from discovery to close, including relationship building and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership through insights and innovations to improve product development and sales efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain referral and reference accounts through strategic relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Outbound prospecting and a hunter mentality.
  • Experience selling software (cloud/SaaS), particularly to Finance and Tax departments.
  • Excellent time management and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or related field.
  • 5+ years of solution software sales experience, including experience in financial technology.

Qualifications

  • Strong ownership and accountability for targets.
  • Highly articulate and able to communicate value propositions to C-level executives.

Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
