About the role
Tax.com is revolutionizing the tax industry with innovative solutions. As an Account Executive, you will promote the tax.com platform to mid-market to enterprise customers across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Sell the tax.com platform, the leading corporate tax software, to new customers in multiple verticals.
- Manage complex sales cycles from discovery to close, including relationship building with finance and tax departments and IT teams.
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, and Sales Management teams to strategize and execute on sales plans.
- Show strong ownership and accountability for meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a high level of drive and initiative.
- Provide thought leadership by sharing insights, market feedback, and customer perspectives to drive product innovation and improve sales productivity.
- Create and maintain referral and reference accounts through strategic long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Outbound prospecting and a hunter mentality.
- Experience selling software (cloud/SaaS), especially to finance and tax departments.
- Excellent time management and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or related field.
- 5+ years of solution software sales experience, with a focus on driving and managing new customer acquisitions.
- Ability to articulate the value proposition to C-level executives, account managers, and HR leaders.
