Account Executive, Portfolio - SLED - St Louis
About the role
The role is focused on Local Governments and K-12 Systems, working with Public Sector Account Managers and Systems Engineers to sell a large portfolio of technology products and services.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate joint initiatives with cross-functional teams and engage cross-functional resources to achieve goals.
- Build strong customer relationships and lead innovation within Cisco.
- Drive sales achievement through account and resource planning and allocation.
- Accurately forecast revenue streams and analyze customers' financials.
- Position and sell a wide range of technology products and services.
- Deliver large strategic wins using a go-to-market approach.
- Manage and exceed sales targets.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling in areas such as networking, security, unified collaboration, data center, software, and cloud services.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Validated experience in successful account management including forecasting, quota overachievement, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships and articulate Cisco's product/services/business strategies.
- Experience in complex technical solutions and negotiating with peers, partners, and customers.
- Ability to engage and lead cross-functional/virtual resources as part of an extended team.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $181,300.00 to $233,100.00, reflecting the projected salary range for new hires in U.S. and Canadian locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
