Account Executive - Online Military Division - Grand Canyon University

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Missoula, MT and surrounding territory in this unique military community-based opportunity. New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.
Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.
Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, a typical week might include the following:
- Strategy and execution: consistently identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Shape high-impact partnerships for your territory and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
- Partner and influencer: use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners on their journey to enrollment. Champion the GCE mission through in-person, phone, or email interactions, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
- Heart and Hustle: work independently with ambitious targets, using out-of-the-box critical thinking skills to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them toward a successful online learning experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
- Outstanding time management skills: ability to prioritize competing priorities while traveling and wearing many hats.
- Clear communication skills: ability to explain concepts effectively in person, in writing, and on the phone, with well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed: take ownership of challenges and make a meaningful difference with Grand Canyon University students.
- High emotional intelligence: ability to coach a diverse range of students with unique circumstances and nurture partner relationships with empathy.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule. Extensive travel in your territory is required, including some evening and/or weekend availability.
- Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with digital tools for accountability and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry-related professional experience (enrollment, recruiting, counseling).
- Experience working with CRM tools.
