About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the St. Louis, MO territory in this unique military community-based opportunity. This role involves strategy and execution, partnership development, and guiding prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process to ensure their success in online learning.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement event and activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, driving inquiry generation.
- Shape high-impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners through various mediums (in-person, phone, email) to support their enrollment journey.
- Champion the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
- Use critical thinking skills to guide prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring a successful online learning experience.
- Work independently with ambitious targets, demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skills, including travel within the territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- No delinquent or default status on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect current, non-delinquent payments.
- 3+ years of experience in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, including travel.
- Clear communication skills, comfortable interacting in person, in writing, and on the phone, with well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed, with a proactive approach to new challenges.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students and nurturing partner relationships.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule, including evening and/or weekend availability for events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using digital tools for accountability and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in enrollment, recruiting, or counseling.
- Experience working with CRM tools.

Pay
Starting salary is $75,000 per year with earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service.
New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.
