About the role
As Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth through a combination of new business development and expansion of existing client relationships across the Healthcare & Life Sciences portfolio. You will sell event sponsorships, digital media, lead generation, and integrated marketing solutions.
The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and developing new business while growing strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, outbound outreach, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand revenue.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and renewal.
- Consult with clients to develop customized event sponsorship, digital media, lead generation, and integrated marketing solutions.
- Conduct compelling virtual and face-to-face presentations with executive decision-makers.
- Develop strategic account plans that maximize long-term revenue growth.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Customer Success, and Event teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Represent Questex at client meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of successful B2B sales experience in media, events, marketing services, sponsorship sales, advertising, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success generating new business while growing existing customer relationships and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience presenting to executive-level decision makers in both virtual and face-to-face meetings.
- Strong organizational skills with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.
- Salesforce experience required; Gong experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $50,000, plus a commission package. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic, and organizational factors are also considered.
