Account Executive - Fire Alarm Systems

Responsibilities

• Identifies new opportunities around New York City within commercial, multifamily, retail, and other facilities to sell our fire alarm and integrated security systems.
• Hunt, and prospecting new leads through a variety of strategies - cold calling, networking events, industry meet-ups, etc.
• Consistently close business deals by identifying client needs, negotiating win-win solutions, and driving opportunities from initial contact through signed agreements.
• Maintains accurate sales activities around pipeline, and prospective customers.
• Builds rapport and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Analyzes and understands architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings/plans.
• Reviews job labor, material, and time requirements by analyzing bid documents.
• Develops cost estimates by gathering bid documents, blueprints, and project specification information.
• Develops, and presents, required proposals.
• Finds new construction deals with electrical and general contractors.

Qualifications

• 5 Years experience in selling to Electrical and General Contractors
• 5 years of selling Fire Alarm & Integrated Security
• Nicet level 2 Certified (Optional)
• Vast knowledge of NYC Fire Alarm Codes and NYFPA
• CRM experience required
• Computer skills needed (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, etc.)
