Account Executive (Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Systems)
Job Summary
LifeSafety Management is seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Executive to join our Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Installation team in Boynton Beach, FL. This role centers on developing and maintaining relationships with clients while delivering tailored fire alarm and low voltage solutions, including new system installations, tenant improvements, retrofits, and integrated low voltage projects (access control, mass notification, and related systems).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, focusing on Fire Alarm and low voltage installation services.
- Identify and pursue installation opportunities including new construction, tenant improvements, system upgrades/retrofits, and integrated low voltage projects (access control, mass notification, and related systems).
- Collaborate with internal sales, estimating, and project management teams to coordinate cross-functional solutions (e.g., fire sprinklers, security integration, and other life safety service needs).
- Conduct site surveys, cold calls, and presentations to general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, and end users to generate leads and uncover new business.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, bids, and proposals in the company CRM.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, RFPs, and bid invitations.
- Adhere to sales plans and KPIs to meet or exceed performance goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of experience in selling fire alarm and/or low voltage systems/services.
- Familiarity with Florida fire codes (NFPA 72, FBC).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver's license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of low voltage systems including access control, CCTV, and mass notification.
- Existing relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, and developers in the South Florida market.
Physical Demands
This role may require extended periods of sitting or standing, movement around the office or job site, and operation of standard equipment. Physical activities can include reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Field positions may involve heavy lifting, working in varying climates (including outdoor conditions), construction or low-voltage environments, and exposure to dust, noise, or confined spaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. Some roles may require travel.
