Essential Job Responsibilities
- Key Account Management & Sales Development
- Manage a portfolio of wholesale partners, ensuring consistent communication and high service levels
- Develop and execute sales plans and brand strategy under the direction of the Sr Director
- Consistently achieve monthly, seasonal, and annual sales targets
- Drive Sell in & Sell out performance to maximize revenue and profitability
- Maintains exceptional relationships with their assigned accounts and acts as a brand ambassador by providing merchandising and product knowledge training through store visits
- Structure and lead client meetings, set commercial agendas, and ensure follow through
- Assists in the forecasting of their assigned accounts as well as monitoring and managing profitability each season (discounts, returns, margin assistance)
- Retains relationship with field team by keeping them updated on all communication regarding new shipments and delays
Sales Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales performance at account, door, and product level
- Prepare weekly, monthly and seasonal sales recaps by client and category
- Track sell through, inventory levels, and replenishment opportunities
Wholesale Operations and Administration
- Manage seasonal orders, reorders, and inventory allocations
- Monitor shipping, deliveries, stock levels and cancellations
- Ensure accurate and timely order confirmations and system entries
- Collaborates with marketing, visual, and merchandising departments to ensure that the Lacoste image is properly presented to maximize sales performance
Requirements/Qualifications
- Four years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with Major Department and Lifestyle accounts
- Proven track record of sales and prior strong relationships with various department stores
- Strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint). Must be able to compile large volumes of data on a spreadsheet with a high degree of accuracy
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and able to quickly adapt in an ever- changing environment
- Ability to travel up to 50% and lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 25 lbs
