About the role
Via is transforming transportation globally. As Account Director, you'll lead partnerships, drive revenue growth, and provide strategic guidance to partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for partner success
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners
- Analyze and provide actionable insights on partner service performance
- Negotiate and manage contract renewals and expansions
- Strategically navigate market landscapes and build compelling business cases
- Educate and consult partners on regional transit plans and funding mechanisms
Requirements
- 10+ years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, consulting, or similar fields
- Experience with public sector preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and celebrate partners' successes
- Data-savvy with the ability to draw insights from complex data sets
- Exceptional judgment and commercial intuition
- Passionate about growth and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Expertise in renewals, up-selling, and relationship-building with senior officials
- Willingness to travel 25-50%

Benefits
Final salary will be determined by experience, knowledge, and skills. Compensation includes base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000, with the possibility of equity and variable pay.

Remote-first role based in the US Central region. Open to candidates in Chicago or the broader Midwest, or other locations including Texas.
