About the role
Nectar is a communications agency that works with disruptive technology companies like LinkedIn and Google Cloud. We're looking for an Account Coordinator who can take on meaningful work, push clients forward, and help the team succeed.
Responsibilities
- Draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, and award submissions
- Build and maintain media and analyst lists to support outreach efforts
- Monitor news cycles and identify timely media and storytelling opportunities
- Create social media content and assist with editorial calendars
- Attend client meetings, capture notes, action items, and next steps
- Conduct research on industries, competitors, and media landscapes
- Aid in briefing materials, media training prep, and interview coordination
- Support brainstorming sessions, new business efforts, and campaign ideation
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of client programs
Requirements
You should have 0–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields. Prior experience in an agency, tech company, or media environment is preferred. Strong writing, editing, and research skills with high attention to detail are required. You must also have strong organizational skills, a proactive communication style, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Willingness to learn and champion the use of AI tools and emerging tech
