The Account Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate account records, processing service updates, and supporting billing-related activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple requests while following established procedures.
Maintain and Update Customer Accounts
- Maintain and update customer account information, including service details, billing data, tax information, disposal site information, and related records.
- Create and set up new accounts based on requests from internal teams and customer service cases.
- Process account changes, including service modifications, suspensions, corrections, and pricing updates.
- Enter billing adjustments and support urgent billing requests to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Review and resolve account discrepancies while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
Collaborate with Teams
- Support audit-related corrections, special projects, and administrative initiatives as assigned.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, customer service, and operational teams to ensure effective account management.
- Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of account maintenance workflows.
Requirements
- Experience in administrative, billing, or customer-supporting environments.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established processes, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to work Arizona business hours during initial training and onboarding, with increased schedule flexibility afterward based on team needs.
