Backhaul Direct, LLC is seeking an Account Coordinator to support one of our fastest-growing strategic customer accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and wants to play a key role in delivering exceptional transportation service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily transportation activities for a dedicated customer account.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery and provide proactive status updates.
• Communicate with carriers to obtain shipment information, delivery confirmations, photos, and required documentation.
• Upload shipping documents and proof of delivery into customer systems.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, service exceptions, and operational issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer, carrier partners, and internal operations teams.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
• Prioritize multiple shipments while meeting demanding service expectations.
• Build strong working relationships through consistent, professional communication and customer support.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• A sense of urgency and commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn transportation management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service, or operations.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
