About the role

The Accommodated Testing Specialist is responsible for reviewing accommodation requests and making recommendations and decisions on requests for testing accommodations on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) submitted by candidates with claimed physical or mental impairments, including but not limited to learning and attention disorders, psychiatric disabilities, visual impairments, and physical and neurological disorders.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Secur-Serv requirements, policies, procedures, and management directions
• Review and make recommendations and decisions for requests for testing accommodations on the LSAT received from candidates with claimed physical or mental impairments, including but not limited to learning and attention disorders, psychiatric disabilities, visual impairments, and physical and neurological disorders
• Email external professional consultants
• Input data into electronic databases regarding testing accommodation requests
• Coordinate, schedule, and administer examinations for students with approved testing accommodations
• Ensure accurate implementation of approved accommodations, including extended time, reduced-distraction testing environments, assistive technology, readers, and scribes
• Communicate and collaborate with students, faculty, disability services personnel, and other campus stakeholders regarding testing arrangements and procedures
• Receive, secure, administer, and return examination materials in accordance with established testing protocols
