About the role

The Associate Director of the Accommodated Testing Center oversees the daily operations of the Testing Center, ensuring efficient delivery of testing services to students with documented disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality while providing approved testing accommodations for DAS registered university students.
  • Aid in answering phone calls, responding to disability-related inquiries from students and faculty, ensuring all forms and exams are received and secured.
  • Act as a liaison between students and faculty, ensuring completed exams and testing materials are scanned and returned to instructors.
  • Assist with recordkeeping and data collection.
  • Ensure student belongings are secured during testing periods, including cell phones and iPads.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • In-person (on-campus position)
  • Excellent communication and service skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one year’s work experience in a related area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of ADA and Section 504 as it relates to students with disabilities
  • Some experience in university support services
  • Working knowledge of assistive technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to embrace, utilize, and master new technology
  • Professional, team-oriented individual with a positive attitude
  • Ability to positively interact with diverse groups of students, parents, faculty, and staff
  • Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to work 12 p.m.-8 p.m. weekdays

Pay

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison. The expected hiring range is from $55,000.00 to $65,000.00.

Schedule

This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
