This role includes performing component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Department, with a continued emphasis on flight safety. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free conditionEnsure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all timesWear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery to ensure personal safetyBe available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed Minimum Requirements Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver’s license is requiredAbility to read, write, and understand English is requiredMechanical experience and/or aptitude are requiredDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment is requiredWillingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts, is required; specific days will be determined based on operational needsAvailability to work weekend shifts as needed is required Physical And Other Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation, is requiredReliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this positionThis is a full-time positionThis position is assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew with a starting wage of $17.31 per hour (plus 1.00 override)This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position Please complete the online application.
