Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain the appearance of aircraft cabin interiors
- Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and direction from the Maintenance Department, with emphasis on flight safety
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
- Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition
- Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times
- Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery
- Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed
Requirements
- Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts; specific days determined by operational needs
- Availability to work weekend shifts as needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Pay
$17.31 per hour plus $1.00 override for night shift
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew
- Four 10-hour shifts per week; specific days determined by operational needs
