Accessory Shop Technician 206 Crew -MKE

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the appearance of aircraft cabin interiors
• Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and direction from the Maintenance Department, with emphasis on flight safety
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
• Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition
• Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times
• Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery
• Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed

Requirements

• Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver’s license
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts; specific days determined by operational needs
• Availability to work weekend shifts as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable and punctual attendance

Pay

$17.31 per hour plus $1.00 override for night shift

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew
• Four 10-hour shifts per week; specific days determined by operational needs
