Packing and Inventory Crew Member

About the Role

This role involves packing and wrapping customers' belongings for storage, utilizing inventory and scanning software, maintaining communication with office personnel and customers, and documenting job progress. You'll also clean affected structures and contents following fire, water, or construction-related losses, and work in various weather conditions, including homes without power. Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency losses is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap customers' belongings for storage
• Utilize the Company's inventory and scanning software daily
• Maintain daily communication with office personnel on job progress
• Obtain proper photo documentation and communicate with customers throughout the job
• Document written lists and photos of non-salvageable items for insurance companies
• Clean affected structures and contents after fire, water, or construction-related losses
• Work in extreme weather conditions and homes without power
• Participate in mandatory on-call rotation for emergency losses

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to work within a team
• Takes instruction, stays on task, and follows company guidelines
• Good verbal, written, and communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
• Valid TX Driver's License
• Ability to problem-solve and work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
• Move up to 70 pounds often by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift, squat, crawl, and crouch as required
• Express and exchange ideas with others, receive and act on detailed information
• Wear respirators that must seal to the face in certain situations
• Work in various inside and outside conditions, including environments with or without air conditioning and heating

Pay

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
