Packing and Inventory Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap customers' belongings to be moved into their storage location.
• Utilize the Company's inventory and scanning software on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain daily communication on job progress with office personnel.
• Obtain proper photo documentation and communicate with customers throughout job progress.
• Document written list and photos of non-salvageable items to provide to insurance companies as needed.
• Clean affected structures and contents as needed following fire and/or water losses, and following construction work.
• Work in extreme weather conditions (cold, heat) and in homes without power.
• Participate in mandatory on-call rotation for emergency losses.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Takes instruction and stays on task.
• Follows company guidelines and standards.
• Good verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
• Valid TX Driver's License.
• Ability to problem solve and work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Must be prepared to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching is required.
• Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
• For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
• Exposure to various inside and outside working conditions, including environments with or without air conditioning and heating.

Pay

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour
