Primary Job Duties
- Inspect and maintain the appearance of aircraft cabin interiors
- Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Department, with a continued emphasis on flight safety
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
- Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition
- Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times
- Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery to ensure personal safety
- Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts; specific days will be determined based on operational needs
- Availability to work weekend shifts as needed
Physical And Other Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
- This is a full-time position
- This position is assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew with a starting wage of $17.31 per hour (plus 1.00 override)
