Accessory Shop Technician 206 Crew -MKE

Primary Job Duties

• Inspect and maintain the appearance of aircraft cabin interiors
• Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Department, with a continued emphasis on flight safety
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
• Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition
• Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times
• Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery to ensure personal safety
• Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver's license
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Mechanical experience and/or aptitude
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts; specific days will be determined based on operational needs
• Availability to work weekend shifts as needed

Physical And Other Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
• This is a full-time position
• This position is assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew with a starting wage of $17.31 per hour (plus 1.00 override)
• This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
