Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the appearance of aircraft cabin interiors.
• Perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance-related items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Department.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Maintain the assigned shop work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition.
• Ensure tools and support equipment are kept clean, safe, and operational at all times.
• Wear required eye and hearing protection as necessary when using tools or operating machinery to ensure personal safety.
• Be available to work any assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid state-issued unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Mechanical experience and/or aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, including four 10-hour shifts, with specific days determined based on operational needs.
• Availability to work weekend shifts as needed.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor level to chest height, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.
• This is a full-time position assigned to the night shift on the 206 Crew.
• The starting wage is $17.31 per hour (plus 1.00 override).
• This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
