Rotational Program Overview

A EDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint. Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas. Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needs. Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementation. Build Cross-Office Collaboration Skills with teams across design centers and job sites. Prepare Future Project Leaders with diverse, real-world experience. Enhance Engagement & Retention by aligning strengths with roles and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
  • Create construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Program.
  • Create design calculation documentation.
  • Develop construction cost estimates.
  • Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements.
  • Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering.
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things.
  • Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026.
