About the role

The Engineering Development Program at TTM Technologies, Inc.'s Stafford, CT division is designed for engineering students who are either freshmen or sophomores. The program aims to provide hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with the goal of reducing the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.

Responsibilities

  • Support critical processing lines such as Plating, Drill, Rout, and Test while working on the production floor.
  • Continue supporting critical processing lines and participate in Engineering projects like automation development, DOE processing, yield improvements, and more.
  • Learn about Ignition and Andon systems.
  • Assist in implementing former intern projects.
  • Contribute to entry-level Engineering projects as assigned by the Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 12 hours per shift.
  • Commitment to at least one shift per weekend and three weekends per month.
  • Able to safely lift 35 – 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Good reading vision, color discrimination, and hearing perception.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Completion of at least 12 college credits.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Pay

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on factors including specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California, and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Schedule

The work schedule for this role is Friday-Sunday from 7:00am - 7:00pm.

This includes understanding and adhering to export regulations, recognizing foreign person visitors, managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services, and identifying ITAR product on the manufacturing floor.
