About the role
The Academic Services Manager & Field Placement role supports the Department of Counseling Ministries by managing daily academic operations, student services, and field placements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for students and faculty regarding academic processes and field placement guidance.
- Manage academic operations including scheduling, records, compliance tracking, and data reporting.
- Oversee all phases of the dissertation process, from contract setup to final ProQuest submission.
- Cook up department events, faculty meetings, calendars, and logistical support for travel and guest speakers.
- Hold monthly meetings with students to provide guidance and support related to their field experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum one year of administrative experience, preferably in higher education
- Candidates Must Have Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn systems like Banner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Discretion with sensitive or confidential information
