Position Summary

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences is looking for a renal pathologist to join the clinical practice of UBMD Pathology. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology. Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist which include: General and subspecialty sign out, Autopsy pathology, Frozen section performance, Select areas of Laboratory Medicine. Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in: Multidisciplinary tumor boards, Residency teaching and oversight, Medical and Dental undergraduate teaching.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD, DO or equivalent – Nephropathology fellowship training
  • AP/CP Board eligibility or certification
