Position Summary
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking an academic Nephropathologist for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are seeking a new pathologist to join our current nephropathologists to support our Nephropathology program, which includes an established outreach kidney biopsy service.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- An MD or comparable degree
- Board-certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology
- Fellowship training and/or service experience in nephropathology
- Eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Applicants interested in minor clinical service work in one of our other surgical pathology sub-specialties will also be considered.
