Academic Scholar - Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor - Department of Anesthesiology
Position Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), in partnership with UBMD Anesthesiology, is seeking a faculty member at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level (rank commensurate with experience). In this role, you will provide outstanding clinical care, teach and mentor the next generation of physicians, and contribute to the growth and success of the department.
Job duties include:
- Deliver high-quality anesthesiology care across a broad range of clinical settings
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in research, quality improvement, or scholarly activities (based on your interests and expertise)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient safety and outcomes
- Participate in departmental service and administrative activities as needed
As a faculty physician with UBMD Anesthesiology, you will join Western New York’s largest physicians’ group, providing exceptional patient care while serving as academic faculty at UB. Our board-certified anesthesiologists deliver both standard and advanced anesthesia care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology
- Fellowship training will be taken into consideration
