About the role

The Faculty of Applied Languages (English Department) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

• Holds a Ph.D. in Translation, Literature or Linguistics, and at least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
• Experience of teaching English Language as ESP and ESL and Translation.
• Engaged, collaborative, and creative.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position will include the following:

• Teaching (3-4 courses/semester)
• Student advising
• Research and creative activities
• Service and cooperative extension
• Administrative responsibilities

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Translation, Literature or Linguistics
• At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D.
• Experience of teaching English Language as ESP and ESL and Translation.
• Engaged, collaborative, and creative.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Marketing, Management, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in university-level teaching and academic engagement at a recognized institution.
• A strong research portfolio, with evidence of peer-reviewed publications.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital platforms in teaching and assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate research.
