Academic Physician - MD/DO - Pulmonary Critical Care

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a full-time Academic Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine Physician to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital. Candidates must be BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Sleep Medicine training, board certification, or eligibility is strongly preferred, as a dedicated portion of the physician's clinical practice will include Sleep Medicine. Responsibilities Direct patient care in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicineMaintain an active Sleep Medicine practice, including evaluation and management of sleep disorders7 days on / 7 days off critical care scheduleInpatient ICU and pulmonary consult servicesOutpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine clinicsSupervision of Internal Medicine residents and Hospitalist APPsCommitment to medical student, resident, and fellow educationParticipation in scholarly activities and academic program development Qualifications MD or DOBC/BE in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care MedicineSleep Medicine fellowship training, board certification, or board eligibility preferredEligible for Missouri medical licensure SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a LEVEL 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital in Stroke, Trauma and STEMI, is at the forefront of ground-breaking medical treatments, procedures, clinical trials and comprehensive patient care.
