Academic Pediatric Rheumatology Division Director & Physician (NTT)
About the role
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking Pediatric Rheumatologists. This role will play an important role in maintaining the position of the division as market leader in the region and in planning the expansion of outreach services across the state. The Department of Pediatrics is growing under the leadership of Dr. Laura Hesemann and this is an opportunity to join her leadership team and grow the rheumatology division.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the position of the division as market leader in the region
- Plan the expansion of outreach services across the state
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients
- Participate in clinical practice, research, and teaching activities
Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Rheumatology
Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric rheumatology
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
