Academic General Neurosurgeon (NTT)

About the role

The University of Missouri Department of Neurosurgery seeks to hire two full-time neurosurgeons to join a practice of 8 full-time faculty members.

Responsibilities

• Participate in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage
• Contribute to resident selection and evaluation
• Participate in resident and medical education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development
• Involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship

Qualifications

• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Neurosurgery
• License to practice medicine in the Missouri prior to start date
• Experience in Neurovascular and/or Spine Surgery
• Desire to engage in the academic mission of the Department of Neurosurgery through excellence in clinical care, education, and innovation
