About the role

The Department of Anesthesiology at the School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join one of three teams of anesthesia professionals. Opportunities include:

Responsibilities

Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia care via medical direction with residents and CRNAs. Additional duties include:
  • Performing classroom and/or clinical instruction to residents and medical students

Qualifications

  • MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Candidates will be evaluated on: experience in general and regional anesthesia for adult patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgery centers. Prior background and experience in academic medicine not required.
  • A Missouri license will be required to be credentialed with MU Health Care prior to start date.
