- Contact all eligible candidates for re-entry.
- Schedule an in-person with the campus ReEntry Committee on any returning students who are required to submit an SAP Appeal.
- Assist re-enter candidates through the appeal process, if applicable.
- Work with the returning students to collect all necessary documents, including the enrollment agreement.
- Cookordinate re-enter student orientation and communicate the orientation to all eligible returning students.
- Cookordinate with the Director of Education to create campus marketing plans for recruiting returning students, following marketing policies and procedures for compliance.
- Meet or exceed re-enter goals, to include number of contacts, number of appointments set, and number of appointments met.
- Cookordinate with the campus financial aid offices to schedule FA appointments for returning students.
- Document contact activities within the Student Information System.
- Cookoperate with campus in weekly Re-Entry Stitch Meetings to review in-progress returning students.
- Follow up with returning students throughout the first module of classes to provide assistance to address any challenges students might be having.
- Assist the Student Advisor with student activities, including graduation, orientation, open houses, student advisory committee meetings, and campus clubs.
- Two years of experience working in a customer service position.
- Associates Degree or higher.
- Proficiency in student database system and Google.
- Good organizational skills.
- Represent the school honestly and ethically and in a professional manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally (in one-on-one and group settings) and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Ability to work with diverse constituencies, individually and as a group.
- Communicates effectively with people at all levels in the organization using clear and concise information and avoiding vagueness, ambiguity, and mixed messages.
- Works collaboratively with people throughout the organization.
- Taking the initiative to mitigate challenges and obstacles as needed; being action oriented.
- Student services experience in higher education, including student academic progress advising.
- This is a full-time campus, onsit, based position.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work schedule requires; two weekday evenings until 7:00pm.
- Schedule to be approved by Supervisor.
- Periodic weekend hours may be required.
- Sitting for long periods.
- Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper, occasional lifting of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials.
- Moving from place to place within the organization, minimal reaching for items above and below desk level.
- Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
