About the role
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
- Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with classical or malignant hematologic conditions and/or solid tumors.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is required.
Qualifications
- No research requirement for the Academic Clinician track.
- Selected candidates may engage in clinical investigation.
- No experience or advanced training in the conduct of clinical trials is required.
