About the Role

As our Assistant General Manager, you'll oversee hotel operations to ensure every guest leaves with a smile and the property runs efficiently. When the General Manager is away, you'll lead departments, drive revenue, control costs, and support your team. This role is ideal for someone who leads confidently, solves problems proactively, and communicates effectively to create a positive experience for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and collaborating with the General Manager.
• Proactively identify and resolve challenges to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff, and support the development of all team members through training programs.
• Maintain clear and active communication with colleagues and guests, addressing concerns effectively.
• Work with financial data and reports to support hotel operations.
• Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks.
• Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards for yourself and the team.
• Deliver a friendly, service-focused attitude in every guest and teammate interaction.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food & Beverage, or a four-year degree with 2–3 years of related experience, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to remain calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
