About the role
The Neurodevelopmental Center offers group services for children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental challenges. Our ABA model includes play-based, compassionate, and naturalistic teaching approaches. We provide 1:1 aides and intensive parent training groups focusing on enhancing skills like social connection, emotional regulation, communication, daily living, and sensory development.
Responsibilities
- Support Behavior Technicians to meet performance goals and ensure consistency in service provision expectations.
- Design and submit comprehensive treatment plans for clients that are culturally relevant, family-focused, and socially significant, in compliance with agency and payor timelines.
- Conduct behavior assessments, developmental assessments, and Functional Behavior Assessments for consumers. Report results to clinical team members.
- Provide direct intervention (group and individual), as well as necessary coverage for ABA Behavior Technicians.
- May provide support in schools, model direct interventions for educators in classroom settings, provide coaching and instruction, collect fidelity data.
- Assist clinical team with staff trainings, provide parent and group support during overlaps, teach/model effective ABA interventions.
- Attend IFSP/IEP meetings as appropriate to share behavioral data, progress, and recommendations.
- Proactively identify potential conflicts; lead parties to consensus and develop same skill in direct reports.
- Provide oversight and management of ABA behavior technicians, assist program manager with performance management, coordinate with administrative team to maintain schedule, ensure compliance with treatment plan recommendations, monitor staff billable productivity, and ensure clinical documentation and quality assurance meets both agency and payor standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required; at least one (1) year in a behavioral health/ABA clinical role, or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education).

Physical Requirements
- Must remain physically fit enough to keep clients self-safe.
- While performing these duties, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
- This also includes the ability to move quickly/run.
- If program requires, employee must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days of hire, and annually.
- If employed at a Neurodevelopment Services location, employee is required to perform and pass a Human Performance Evaluation Test at a designated company clinic.
- This will include testing for: lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, static weight, and other required movements.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
