ABA Associate - Full Time Temporary Position

YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD Invites Applications For The Position Of ABA Associate OSSTF PSSP 2 - $53,072 – $82,665 (1 Temporary Full Time Position – Immediately to June 30, 2027) Position Summary Reporting to the Manager of ABA and Behaviour Resource Services, the ABA Associate works under the direction of qualified Behaviour Analysts to implement approved ABA programming in support of students experiencing social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Major Responsibilities Under the leadership of the Behaviour Analyst with the identification of a student's learning needs, the ABA Associate will: Gather and/or provide information to measure and monitor ongoing student progress through direct and indirect data collection, data analysis, and data reviewImplement behavioural interviews and functional behaviour assessmentsProvide recommendations related to the area of ABA strategiesDevelop and implement behaviour management plansSupport skills training and capacity building via instruction, modeling, and coachingProvide short-term, intensive support to students (individually and small groups) in order to implement Behaviour Analyst recommendationsConsult to school teams and assist in developing student’s safety, self-regulation, and other adaptive behavioural skill repertoires including providing school and families with materials, references or resourcesCreate programming materials and departmental resourcesParticipate in the development of ABA and Psychoeducational materials and the delivery of professional training/educationParticipate in the development and delivery of educational training materials for direct delivery to student groups (e.g., classroom)Participate in multidisciplinary team coordination meetings, action planning meetings, and case conferences/team meetings, as requiredLiaise with Teachers, Principals, Board personnel, parents and outside agencies as appropriateMaintain electronic clinical records as per departmental procedures Qualifications And Experience Successful completion of a post graduate diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science or related and/or equivalent post graduate ABA coursework (e.g., RBT program).Advanced 3 year College Diploma – Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Worker or equivalent.2 – 3 years formal training and practical field experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis principles with children and youth across the range of exceptionalities. Experience should include both creating and implementing BCBA- or RBA- supervised behaviour plansDeep knowledge of data collection methods, behaviour intervention plans, and skills-teaching strategies.Experience with implementing Behaviour Skills Training, BMS/CPI, AIM, and PFA-SBT is considered an asset Interested applicants may apply until the close of business on September 18, 2026.
