A/P SPECIALIST

Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest Christian television network, is hiring for its administrative headquarters in the Alliance Airport area of Fort Worth, Texas. This is a full-time, hybrid position.

About the role

The Accounts Payable Specialist handles the full vendor invoice cycle: receiving, coding, verifying, processing and reconciling invoices. You'll work closely with vendors and with purchase order requesters and receivers across the country to make sure every invoice is accurate, approved and paid on time.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process vendor invoices from start to finish
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Determine appropriate general ledger accounts for expenses and code each invoice
• Verify account distribution accuracy
• Route incoming invoices to the correct requesters for approval via the electronic document routing system
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly and accurately
• Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate professionally and timely
• Collaborate with purchase order requesters and receivers nationwide to confirm details and obtain approvals
• Reconcile invoices and vendor accounts to maintain accurate records
• Assist with other department projects as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience in an electronic invoice routing environment
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong, accurate data entry skills with ability to maintain pace in a high-volume environment
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred
