A&P Mechanic III, Airframe
What You’ll Do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on business jet airframes and systems.
- Remove and reinstall turbofan engines for inspection and maintenance.
- Conduct operational checks, engine runs, and leak checks to verify serviceability.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, landing gear, flight control, and other airframe systems.
- Evaluate removed components for serviceability; document and resolve discrepancies.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data.
- Perform fuel tank sealing and other specialized structural tasks as required.
- Achieve Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives in accordance with FAA and OEM standards.
- Document all work performed clearly, accurately, and in compliance with StandardAero procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards in a professional MRO setting.
Position Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing airframe maintenance on turbofan engine corporate aircraft.
- Available to work 1st Shift, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM maintenance manuals and schematic diagrams.
- Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in physically demanding conditions.
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience in an MRO or military depot environment.
- Factory-authorized training on assigned aircraft or engines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Prominent ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
