About the role

Assist with identifying struggling students in grades K-5 who would benefit from small group assistance during guided independent reading/math practice and/or with tutorials. Participate in all training related to the components of the support you will be implementing. Assist 21st Century tutors in administering pre- and post- assessments, as appropriate. Work with 21st Century tutors and site supervisor to implement 21st Century programming.

Requirements

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associates of arts degree, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning or have passed the state paraeducator assessment)

Qualifications

Job related experience is desired. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

Working days: 4 days per week, Hours per day: 3 hours, Temporary for the 2026-2027 school year, Up to 2 positions available

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
